ACAS Â (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) aim to improve organisations and working life through better employment relations. Their online A-Z of work provides a comprehensive list of employment issues that may affect your daily working life. It is supported by a wide range of advice and information about who to contact for further support.
TIGER is Tailored Interactive Guidance on Employment Rights – run by ACAS (above) – and provides a free service covering minimum wage, flexible working rights, maternity rights, and paternity rights.
WORKSMART is a TUC (national trade union centre) site providing advice and information on your rights at work, health at work, pay tax and pensions, and rights concerning Trades Union Membership.
(Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform) aka DTI Employment Relations Directorate develop legislation on hours of work, pay entitlement, employment rights, holidays, redundancy arrangements, employee consultation, flexible work and work-life balance, and much more.
EMPLAW provide free access to more than 4,000 fact sheets on employment law topics. They also have a paid service for employers and researchers conducting extensive enquiries.
Employment Law UK offers a set of fact sheets on employment law information and issues – plus links to a national network of local, qualified and experiencedÃEmployment Law solicitors.
Interactive Law is a portal site linking to Lawyers and online resources addressing employment law and employment issues.
Workplace Bullying is a free site providing information, advice and support to people and employers dealing with bullying.
